Today is Internationaly Children's Day. I read some impressing acticles. It is about how some people from big cities help some mountain kids to celebrate a different Children's Day.
A young woman volunteered to go to the mountains in south-west China (very poor area) to be a teacher in a primary school. Before that, she lived in Beijing, and she was an active contributer of the "Food board" in Tsinghua BBS (one of the hottest websites in China). She posted lots of recipes there, many people know her.
After came to the moutains, she posts some articles and photos about the life there from time to time. The local people are very very poor, they eat meat less than once per year. So some friends from "Food board" donated some money. The woman used the donated money from Beijing and some of her own money buy a big pig and some flavorings. Because they want the kids to have some "Braised Port" on June 1st, Children's day.
It cost her 2 days to prepare the meal for the 300 kids in that school. For those kids, It is really a different Children's Day.

今天是国际儿童节，碰巧读了几篇很感人的帖子。一些来自大城市的人，帮助山里的孩子们度过了一个不一样的儿童节。
一个年轻女孩（网名香槟）做志愿者去了西南山区支教。那之前，她住在北京，是水木food版的著名人士，贴了大量的菜谱，很多人知道她。
她支教后，不时贴一些关于当地生活的文章照片。当地人非常贫穷，一年都难吃到一回肉。所以food版的网友们捐了一些钱。她拿着这些钱，自己又凑了一些，买了一头猪和一些佐料。因为他们想让这些孩子在6月1日，儿童节的时候，能吃到红烧肉。
她花了两天时间给学校里的300个孩子准备这顿饭。对这些孩子，这的确是一个不同一样的儿童节。
